Professional Services

The UX Innovation Lab connects user experience research, AI-supported design, information science education, and community engagement. Dr Xin Wang's professional service supports this mission through program leadership, curriculum innovation, student pathway development, professional review, STEM outreach, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

UX, Information Science, and Program Innovation

  • Program Director, Bachelor of Science in Information Science, University of North Texas, October 2020–present.

  • Led the BSIS catalog update for Fall 2025 to strengthen curriculum clarity, degree planning, and student pathways.

  • Coordinated with faculty members and the College of Information Advising Office on BSIS program website issues, course instructor issues, and new course approval matters.

  • Hired, trained, and supported adjunct instructors and teaching fellows to teach BSIS program courses, including UX- and information science-related courses.

  • Completed UNT Institutional Effectiveness reports for the BSIS program from 2022 to 2025.
